A new way to work out
Want to try something fun and different? Girlfriend Fun and Fitness welcomes you to the modern world of pole dancing, a new and unique form of fitness! Around the world, people are catching onto the sport, lured by the promise of a toned body, without the grind of a gym workout.

Pole dancing is an alternative to crowded gyms and it has been labelled as the best exercise activity to give your body a full workout. Combine the fun and skills of dance, gymnastics, acrobatics, yoga and pilates into the one sport! Pole dancing improves fitness levels, core strength, muscle tone and strengthens shoulders, arms and the stomach. Your pole dancing workout encompasses cardio through to strength building.

You don't need to be fit to pole dance!
You don't need to be fit. You don't need to be strong. You don't need to be skinny. You don't need to know how to dance. 

At Girlfriend Fun and Fitness, men and women of all backgrounds and ages, from late teens to late 60s, enrol in our pole dancing courses. Here, body shapes and sizes are varied, and size is no barrier to performing spins, climbs and athletic moves on a pole! Girlfriend pole dancing classes are fun and comfortable environments where you can have a fantastic workout, meet new people and spend quality time with friends.

Girlfriend Fun and Fitness pole dancing classes cater to all participant levels, from beginner through to professional, including classes developed specifically for men.

What you'll learn

  • Core foundation pole moves - spins, holds, pole tricks and aerial moves
  • Pole combos
  • Pole dance routines
  • Flexibility and strength conditioning
  • Warm up and cool down/stretch
  • Something for all skill levels! For first time students through to industry professionals.

What to wear

  • Do not put on any moisturiser before class.
  • Wear your gym clothes (ie: trainers, shorts, shirt).
  • Bring a water bottle and towel, and please remember to take off jewellery (rings, watches, bracelets) before commencing the lesson.
